1.  Purpose and Scope

Community standards for user-generated content on FrontLens.

This Policy applies to all users who use the community board and comment features on FrontLens (frontlens.io).

FrontLens is a global digital media platform focused on K-Culture. To maintain a safe and healthy community environment, we operate this Community Guidelines policy for user-generated content.

This Policy applies to:

  • Community posts and edits
  • Comments and replies
  • Other user-generated text content

Editorial content published by FrontLens editors, including articles and visual content, is managed under separate editorial policies and is not covered by this document.

2.  Prohibited Content

Content that may be restricted or removed.

Content falling under the categories below may be considered a violation of this Policy and may be hidden or removed at the administrator’s discretion.

Illegal or Harmful Content

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexual exploitation involving minors
  • Promotion or glorification of terrorism or violence
  • Illegal gambling, phishing, scams, or financial fraud
  • Unauthorized disclosure of personal information
  • Malware, hacking tools, or illegal software distribution
  • Other unlawful content prohibited by applicable laws

Hateful or Harmful Expression

  • Hate speech targeting race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, or disability
  • Repeated harassment or abusive targeting of individuals or groups
  • Promotion of self-harm or suicide
  • Excessively sexual or explicit content
  • Content likely to provoke severe social conflict
  • Defamatory or knowingly false information

Operationally Restricted Content

  • Profanity or vulgar language
  • Spam or repetitive posting
  • Promotional or advertising-oriented content
  • Attempts to redirect users to external services
  • Behavior that disrupts community operations

3.  Restricted Words and Automated Filtering

Some content may be automatically restricted.

FrontLens may operate automated filtering systems for certain restricted words or operationally sensitive expressions.

Content containing restricted words may be blocked from registration, and administrators may additionally review content for policy violations.

Filtering criteria may be updated or changed at any time for operational purposes.

4.  Multilingual Community Operations

Different languages and regions may have different standards.

FrontLens operates as a multilingual global platform, and legal, cultural, and social standards may vary depending on language and region.

Because it is not realistically possible to individually and perfectly review every expression across all countries and languages in real time, FrontLens manages its content moderation and restricted-word policies based on these Community Guidelines and internal operational standards.

As a result, certain expressions may be restricted, hidden, or removed depending on operational policies and administrator judgment.

This Policy is intended as an operational guideline and does not constitute legal advice or legal interpretation for any jurisdiction.

5.  Administrative Actions

How moderation decisions may be applied.

Action Type Description
Hide Content Posts or comments may be hidden at the administrator’s discretion.
Remove Content Content violating this Policy may be removed.

Administrative decisions are made based on content context and operational considerations.

6.  Appeals and Contact

Questions or concerns about moderation decisions?

If you believe moderation action was taken in error, you may contact us using the email below.

Our team may review the request and reconsider moderation decisions where appropriate.

7.  Relation to Terms of Use

These Guidelines work together with our Terms.

Community-related rules in the FrontLens Terms of Use are operated in accordance with these Community Guidelines.

Users may not post unlawful, abusive, hateful, fraudulent, sexually exploitative, or spam-related content. Content violating the Community Guidelines may be removed without notice.
